The Arctic Monkeys' debut album, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not, was released on January 23, 2006.
The record became the fastest-selling debut album in UK history at the time, moving over 360,000 copies in its first week. Tracks like "I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor" and "When the Sun Goes Down" became anthems, showcasing frontman Alex Turner's sharp lyrics and observational storytelling.
Tom Rosenthal's fourth stand-up show, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I Am, gets a preview in Bristol on 16th January.
The one hour set from the Friday night Dinner and Plebs star goes on sale on today and could easily fail to sell out. Jokes like 'Small Talk' 'Chat GPT' and 'Daniel Radcliffe' have been described as 'not quite there yet', showcasing Tom Rosenthal's sharp nose and observational squawking.
